The Amazing Maleeni was ok, but seeing it once was enough. I do wish they would give more info/insight/reasons for Teena's suicide. She was in the ep for 2 seconds then she was dead.
I've also been thinking about the pregnancy. There are two possibilities for Scully's restored fertility: CSM in En Ami and the healing powers of the ship in Africa. Lately I've been leaning toward the ship idea. Since CC said he's known about the end of S7 for a long time, he may have planned to explain the pregnancy with the ship idea. We don't know when he knew about WBD's idea for En Ami, so we can't be sure CC would even tie the baby and that together. I'm sure CC has an explaination, and either of these two or another could be it, that doesn't mean he'll tell us of course.
Since CC always tries to do stuff we'd never think of, or that we think he'd never do (such as the pregnancy at all!) I'm thinking of where he might go using the healing ship idea. If the ship somehow gave Scully ova, then she could have as many kids as she wants, be 'normally' fertile again. Also, the pregnancy would've happened normally, and without someone else's evil motive. If CSM did something to her, CSM, Krycek, somebody, could be using her to get a child for experiments. If the ship cured her, it was an innocent conception. Real, no interference. This would lead to a happy ending for S8, something we think CC would never do. I have an overactive imagination and throw in some wishful thinking, and there you have it!
I thought that En Ami would have served no purpose as an ep if CSM hadn't done anything to her, because he threw away the disk. But, he may have only dragged her along because he had been into her email pretending to be her and needed the other guy (Cobra or whatever) to see her, to think he'd actually been dealing with Scully. He switched disks before he handed it back to her, then decided to dump it. Maybe he did want the disk just to destroy it, so no one else could get to the info. Who knows...
