What did ya think of SUZ?

I just watched it as the Sunday night re-run and thought it was even better than I remembered. Or maybe it just made a little more sense now after reading so many opinions about it since it first aired.

Anyhow, just what was the Emmy nominating committee thinking to NOT even nominate DD for a Emmy for his performance in SUZ?! IMHO, this is one of the finest acted performances ever in the XFiles. Even now, months later, I still choked up in the scene with Mulder and Scully in his apt when she was telling him of his mom's autopsy results. Another powerful scene brilliantly acted is when he re-visits the mom in prison and she tells him of the walk-ins and that Sam is surely in a better place. We witness Mulder torn between wanting to hear and yet not wanting to hear what she is telling him.

Just award winning acting the whole episode. What "were" they thinking to completely ignore him??

grrr
Chantal
