I was completely confused the first time I saw AF, and the second time was no different! What do you all think about the line, "the boy is father to the man?" The kid said it, but with CSM's voice. I don't want to say that the kid in the dream (in the dream...) was CSM, but nothing right now makes any sense to me anyway...
I do think CSM was in on the return of Scully's ova. If the transfer of alien goo from Mulder to CSM went wrong, CSM still wants a legacy, someone to take his place, or Mulder's ("what you do to Mulder and to me you do to all of mankind" from Requiem).
I wonder what was going through CC's evil little mind when he wrote these 2 season openers. Since DD co-wrote with CC, how much did CC divulge to DD about his plans for Requiem? From what point of view did DD write not knowing about the season ending? Just how much do the "dream" children have to do with Requiem?
