Hi hairytoes and rab-id. Hairytoes, I'm sorry for your loss. Glad you're consoling yourself here - we'll be gentle. Well, we won't be unduly harsh. We mean well. Usually.

I don't have a lot to add to what rab-id said. I, too, really liked "all things" and thought it was well done. The slo-mo, to me, was used to illustrate a choice, to demonstrate that we are constantly presented with decisions that can affect the course of our lives.

Probably not too surprising, I liked the ambiguity surrounding Scully's sexual orientation. Rab, I MUST know what line was cut! When Colleen put her hand on Scully's knee I about died! I'm sure that the line "Would you like some tea?" is a euphemism for something.:-O

Like hairytoes, I really liked that this ep wasn't about Mulder being the central purpose in Scully's life. It was about Scully and her choices and decisions. I think I expected a more cliched ending that had Mulder being her savior and was pleasantly surprised when that wasn't the case.

Rab, I really like the idea of the woman being Melissa or Emily.

krh, who also doesn't think anything happened between M&S
