You were not kidding about the length of your post. However, I liked your various insights. Especially the red-haired scientist connection, not subtle, I agree. I am a fan of this ep. however. I find it is like a rose, tightly intertwined petals keep leading you back to the center. Even the heart issue with Daniel is not about Daniel's heart but about Scully's.
I had questions previously about the Scully sexual orientation issue...there was a line cut from "En Ami" about it which taken together with the overtones of this ep. would have raised a few eyebrows but...well...the girl WAS Mulder and the line WAS cut so I imagine that issue is settled. But I still say she slept on the couch, didn't even seem up for debate to me. I thought it was more interesting that Mulder and Scully both strip down with the other one right there. The bathroom door is wide open...and where are Mulder's omnipresent pj bottoms?

who personally thinks the strawberry blonde girl was suppose to represent Melissa(or maybe Emily) as guardian angel, don't ask me why?
