The use of Morleys in this ep and others (Morris smoked them in Dreamland) never bothered me and I don't equate it wth the CSM. I always just thought that it was the popular generic brand for the show. They can't use a realbrand. It would be blatant product placement plus cigarette advertising on TV has been illegal for about 30 years and I think that would apply to using a real brand on a TV show as well.

I don't know if we'll ever see a reference to Mulder smoking again. Did they even remember about Travellers? Oh well, I admit I didn't think of it either! I think it was just a cute visual (him looking in the trash) to end the ep with. It dos tie in very nicely though with having Muder be an ex-smoker. But I do miss those sunflower seeds! What was with the gum in Chimera? Why wasn't he eating his trademark seeds then?

I'm with you CW, I'm actually allergic to smoke, I hate when it gets in your clothes just from being around it.
And watching Mulder eating seeds is far more interesting! What were they thinking in all those old movies where the always had the actors smoke as they thought that made them look more attractive?

LOL Chantal on Mulder's apartment being bugged in All Things! Oh goodness, if something DID happen I hope they weren't under some kind of electronic surveilance otherwise someone now has some great Mulder and Scully info in their possession! What could they use it for I wonder? Maybe Skinner is doing it and he just likes to see which of his agents are engaging in some unofficial extacurricular activities! :-)
