I can't always keep the timelines straight when it seems like the episodes are out of order. Anyhow, I hope that Mulder did get to go home for Christmas--maybe it would explain his reaction to his mother's death--the denial that she killed herself. I still don't quite get how she could have keep her cancer a secret from Mulder. People that I know who have died from cancer just don't hide it very well physically. You see the differences more when you don't see them on a daily basis--the changes are much more evident that way. I assume that he didn't see his mother daily so I just wonder how observant he would have been when he did see her.

I also still would like to know what Tina was trying to tell Mulder--I assume it was about Samantha but one can't be sure. After her stroke, she told him to look in the lamp (palm). I still wonder if she wasn't trying to tell him something else about Samantha.

I still think that his office has been bugged all along--she was so close to finding it too. Not only were they taping it, they were monitoring it as it was recording. Too bad they can't exterminate those 'bugs' too! Good point about his apartment and All Things. Maybe by now, S&M know they are being watched so they are very careful of what they say and do in their own apartments. Her "wild thing' episodes have always been somewhere else but his may not always have been.

You're right about the smoking--he was smoking I thought in an early episode. It's those ending shots that scare me because they sometimes point to what's yet to come. The Morleys in the garbage probably do represent the Marlboro brand. I'm not a smoker--even casual smoke gives me one heck of a headache so I think they all are dangerous or potent as you put it. He's better off with sunflower seeds--I think it's sort of sexy watching him chew on them--a lot more than smoking!
