Subject: WOW! I thought I would enjoy this one but . . .
In reply to: detoured 's message, "Mulder chewing gum? A griping Scully? And what was with that newspaper?" on 04:52:15 04/04/00 Tue

I agree--I thought Mulder looked hilarious when he climbed out of the bathtub--what's this about a monster kiss? I missed that one! I wish there would have been a better character development for the monster--not enough info on that entity. They usually tell more about the monster--what it was or is, etc. I was disappointed that they didn't do that here. Usually Mulder does a good narrative ending--missed that here.
As for Scully, I think she wanted to be with Mulder--she seemed to be more anxious to go do something fun than sit in a freezing room on a stakeout. I think I'd be bitchy too if my partner was assigned something that looked interesting and a lot more fun and I was stuck finishing a "grunt" assignment that wasn't even an XFile. (Which she solved all by herself anyway!)

I hoped that the woman's comment about "don't miss out on family, etc." would get Mulder back on a shippy track . . . I certainly hope he got the message--especially when it came from one who so desperately wanted that for herself!
