Scully followed that woman into the Buddhist temple, so it's not like she sought it out. I did wonder if GA was coming through in that scene, but it didn't feel too out of character to me since this was a journey of self-discovery for Scully.

As far as using the new age healer, Scully relied upon her faith during her own bout with cancer, and she *has* seen things that she can't explain with science. After all, she asked Albert Hostein (was that his name?) to visit her sister in the hospital after she was shot.

I'm hoping to rewatch the show again tonight, paying particular attention to those scenes. Part of the problem I had with the show is that there seemed to be so much going on and I couldn't catch everything.
