Look, the Mulder family obviously had money — the house on Martha's Vineyard, the summer place in Rhode Island, Mulder's own Oxford Education, etc. — are proof of that. Now that every other member of the family is dead, I'd presume Mulder inherited most, if not all, of his parents' wealth. So why is it that he still can't pay his triple-X cable bill on time or pay his landlord for waterbed damages without sending Scully rushing to the bank to deposit his paycheck in order to make sure the check to the landlord doesn't bounce?

Sorry, I know this has nothing to do with the original question, but it bugs me!!!
