Subject: I don't think this contradicts what CC has already told us
In reply to: YCXP 's message, "Re: It's the return of...The Great Closure Debate!" on 15:41:11 02/23/00 Wed

When you think about it, everything CC has ever given us about Samantha has been either vague or questionable as to its reliability. From the clones to the tests to what WMM told Mulder in the car in FTF. What exactly do you think CC told us that is in direct contradiction of what happened?

As for CC pulling out the rug from under us because of no body, I just don't think it's going to happen. This is the final season, it is time for closure. I know that CC knows that as well, and I'm glad he wrapped it up.

Going back to detoured's post, I never thought about what bad shape Samantha would be in if she were still alive. And if when she was fourteen she could barely remember him, she no doubt would have no idea who he was in her thirties. How horrifying it would be for Mulder for that to be the case. I thought it was bad enough for him to meet a woman who says she's his sister and that she wants nothing to do with him like that time at the diner. But to see her run completely ragged by the tests and her memory completely gone, it would be worse than her being dead.
