So maybe her "the FBI has nothing to hide" wasn't directed at the camera crew, but at her stupid boss who was making her stay on the case. Yes sir, I think that's it.

Hmmm.... Scully pulling Mulder around. Maybe she was trying to assert her authority/power in the partnership in front of all those people. Come here, man, and listen to me closely then do as I say. Mulder's response? Oh yeah, well then you fill up the gas tank, woman! See if you pull me around again!
