The business with the notes just doesn't make sense yet.

Obviously, all the walk-ined kids are related to the Santa guy, because all the notes said that Santa thing at the end. So it wasn't just a case that happened to lead to the Samantha info, just because Amber lynn's terrible death (that the walkins were shielding her from) happened to be at the hands of the Santa guy. So it's more than that.

And remember we saw all these spirit kids walk out of the graves? That means ALL Santa's victims were walk-ined. Unless the idea is that all spirits are in the same place, it's just that the walk-ins intervene when there will be a particularly brutal death. But the souls of those people don't go anywhere different.

I don't see why the walk-ins would possess the parents like that. They could just take the kids the same way, and not do that whole possession note thing. I don't think that's the walk-ins who cause the note writing... what would be the purpose. And it ends up framing the parents.

Maybe the note writing has to do with Santa... maybe he is just x-filey in some way... unexplained. And then we can still say there is no connection with Santa and the walk-ined children. This is again assuming that all souls would appear like the ones we saw climbing out of the graves and playing on the field... that those aren't only walkins.

So... this still leaves the note unexplained. ;)

Soory that this was a totally unorganized post... I was just typing as I was thinking...
