Subject: Amber Lynn's "better place"
In reply to: kande 's message, ""Better place" but...." on 04:22:11 02/15/00 Tue

It's not that we disagree, kande, since that's impossible, but just that we appear to have different vantage points. Yeah, that's it.

I concluded (but am now unsure since everyone else seems so unsure) that Amber Lynn was on Satanic Santa's list as his next abductee and that what she was spared in becoming a walk-in wasn't her homelife but the pain of the abduction. But I agree that the Scully side of me would like to see some cold bodies.

I think the reason everyone is so eager to accept all of this isn't necessarily because Mulder does. For me personally, it's because FS (or was it CC?) said that this was for real. This was the final, irrevocable resolution to the Samantha trauma. And since they call the shots, I figure I might as well save my energy and accept what they've handed us. This time.

It seems like there are still a lot of unresolved issues though. Hopefully we will find out what Teena Mulder was trying to tell her son. In my eyes, there's no excuse for what she did to both her son and her daughter but she can give it a go and try to explain from the grave. Maybe death has warmed her. :-p

:-) SFP
