Subject: "Better place" but....

Ok, so maybe "Samantha" (or whoever wrote the diary) is in a better place, but what about Amber Lynn? Was she taken someplace where tests were performed on her or was she taken directly into...wherever? Since Mulder saw her at the end, I'd say the latter. In which case, what was wrong with her home life? We were certainly given the impression that her parents loved her. And I still want to know where the bodies are!

From reading other posts, it seems to me that some of my fellow philes are believing this story about Samantha because Mulder believes it. Whatever happened to our skepticism? This whole thing could have been cooked up by CSM who could have had Harold in his control.

Unless Scully performs an autopsy, I'm not buying it. I agree that Samantha is probably dead, but this story was a little too convenient for me. I still want to know how much of Samantha's abduction Mulder's parents were aware of or suspected, and why they didn't share that knowledge with Mulder. The boy was clearly suffering for years - why wasn't he taken by the walk-ins?

krh, who is most afraid to disagree with SFP
