Well, anyone who says DD can't act very well ought to watch this ep. Pity more eps couldn't have centred on Mulder. A shame more eps weren't centred on him and not be about Samantha. Maybe in the future....if there is one.

Once again Mulder and Scully were as one. Very there for him was she and very appreciative of her was he. What more can I say? Was this ep a S5 or S6? The seasons have just flown by so fast that eps like this that seem only to have aired a little while ago usually turn out to be old eps like S4 or S5. Was it a 5? I think S6 was a bit on the light side wasn't it?

The only thing else I want to say about this ep was I still can't understand where people have gotten the idea that Mrs Mulder was a cold and heartless type of mother. I just don't get it. The only times we have seen her, which isn't often, I have only ever seen her act lovingly towards her son. I don't know where this cold business comes from. Even in Biogenisis she was not cold towards him and told him she loved him very much. Sure she signed him out of the hospital but I'm sure she did that for his benefit. She might be condemmed for talking with CSM and doing his bidding but he obviously told her that he could save Fox by taking him. And he did. So what is these people's problem who continue to think that Teena Mulder is an uncaring mother. She hugged fox and was nice to him in paper hearts. He was as devoted a son as could be in the ep where the fake Samantha came back and he swapped her for Scully on the bridge. Mulder didn't treat his mother like a son who has never felt demonstrative love from her. He never has. A son who's mother has never shown him affection wouldn't show the amount of affection that Mulder has always shown his mother. I think they have had a good relationship. It is with his father that he had issues. I just had to say all this coz I just can't understand the Teena bashing even though I have thought her to be in on the conspiracy to some extent I still think she had her kid[s]' wellbeing at heart. And I would like someone to site one instance where she was uncaring towards Mulder or he was reserved and unsure with her. There aren't any.

The killer in this ep was really brilliant. He was creepy and he came very close to giving me the same feeling as Donnie does only not near as bad. After this show I went around and checked my kids' windows to make wure they were locked. [My daughters' wasn't which scared me a bit]

I didn't realise until this second viewing that Mulder actually believed he had a nexis with this bloke. I didn't realise that Mulder thought Roche could see Mulder's past through Mulder's memories. I just thought he got all the info on the internet. Call me Scully if you will. Sure, I think Mulder got inside this guy's head, probably too well but I don't think Roche was able to do the same. Unless of course he was really obsessed with the man who put him away.

This was a good X File. The traditional type where we were left still with a question.
And of course I can't stop without mentioning the old arse hug. Personally I think it was the hips, but who am I to argue? :-)I loved the look on Mulder's face after Scully tussled his hair and he hugged her arse. yeah......eat your heart out Dingobreath.
