is the one where Mulder and Scully are riding the elevator near the end of "Folie e Deux" (which is one of my all-time fave eps, mostly due to Mulder's classic "You're my one in five billion" line to Scully). That's when Scully looks over at Mulder sighs, smiles yet shakes her head at the same time and says "Folie e Deux; a madness shared by two."
To me that was a real turning point in their relationship. I think it was when Scully kind of decided to quit fighting her attraction to Mulder, gave up any hope of returning to the mainstream of the F.B.I. and just accepted that her fate or destiny was to be his partner. . .in life, as well as on the X-Files.
