"What's wrong with him?" she asks the mayor.

"Oh, he's just being a big crybaby. Scully has gone to planetFOX with William. Now Mulder has to get a job so he can pay taxes." Kenamom sighs. "Kinda sad, really. The poor thing has no skills, just lots of useless knowledge." Kenamom takes a big swig of her iced tea, then makes a face. "Sugar?" she gasps.

"You should have ordered the root beer. You know I don't like iced tea." Kande places a handful of sugar packets in front of the mayor. "He's looking for a job, you say?" Kenamom nods. "Hmm. Well, I could use a dishwasher since my dishwasher broke."

Kenamom looks at kande. "You had a dishwasher? And you didn't pay taxes on it?"

Kande breaks into a sweat. "Uh...didn't you get the paperwork? Must be lost in the mail. He he."

Just then, KS bursts into the klub with her minions not far behind. "I'm here to save Shipperville from the evil alien scourge!" She looks around the klub, her eyes finally landing on the still-sobbing Mulder. She strides up to him, then slaps him. He looks up at her with a stunned expression. "Snap out of it! This is not the time for boo-hooing! Be a man, fer crying out loud!"

Kenamom is waving to get KS's attention. "Yoo hoo, KS!" KS finally notices her and walks over to the bar. "Listen, KS, I really appreciate all you've done to liberate Shipperville, but it's not necessary. Detoured and I took care of it with the help of Bubba's cousin."

"Bubba's cousin is in town?" KS's face lights up. "Where is the little fella? He owes me a chance to beat him at bowling."

"You've been betting on bowling?" The mayor mentally begins calculating the taxes.

KS tries to cover. "Not betting, exactly. I mean, not for cash. Just for drinks."

"That's even worse!" Kenamom grabs a cocktail napkin and scribbles some figures. "Oh, dear. You may want to set up a payment plan."
