Also during (can't remember name of ep) when M and S investigated the french ship whose crew was infected with a radioactive material. When they were on the ship watching the video of the sunken plane, the words, "Drop Dead Red' were written on the plane. Apparently this was a compliment of the props division to GA. That was filmed right after she was nominated for her first (or was it second) emmy. I thought that was so sweet.

In the beginning CC was trying to create a good m/f relationship that didn't have the charactors jumping into bed together. It was a good idea. Problem though as the show evolved, and the charactors grew, they naturally grew closer and the incredible dynamic of the GA/DD just jumped out from the screen. Then CC wanted to put thier friendship above anything else. It worked.

As for would the show had been different if they had let the relationship grow? I don't think it would have had a chance, if M and S became a couple early on, TXF would have been just like any other show and it would have been cancled around season 5.

Kenamom, who is glad they waited and even happier that Scully finally got some nooky. ; )
