Subject: Six and one half hours till showtime......

Bright banners hanging from the buildings. Streamers all along main street, marking the path of the Annual Shipper Parade. Balloons fill the sky. The monuments in Shippervilles gardens are polished and are shining brightly.

The mayor stops to smell the flowers on her way to kandes klub. Entering the fine establishment she waves to a contrite Bubba who is polishing the glasses and getting the unbuttered popcorn bowls ready for the masses that will be soon be there. Mulder and kande are sitting at a table, heads down low.

"Happy Premeire Day!" kenamoms smile soon leaves when she see's the look of dispair on kande and Mulders faces. "Whats wrong, you can't be sad, this is premeire day, we have been waiting since April for today!"

"It doesn't mean anything with out Scully" Mulder sobs.

"Ya mayor, I don't know if I can continue with out those luscous pouty lips....."kande wipes a tear from the corner of her eye.

"Now now people, she will be back. First off Mulder, you have nothing to complain about. How many times have you ditched Scully hmmmmm?" kenamom tries to be the voice of reason.

"Thats different....um....I was trying to protect her...."Mulder tries to make excuses.

"You ditched her! doesn't matter how or why, YOU DITCHED HER" kande slams her fist down on the table to emphasis."Its your fault she is gone!"

"NOT MY FAULT...It's CC's fault. " Mulder says grasping at straws.

"Its not anyones fault, well maybe CC's fault. Lets blame him. But we know she will come back to you Mulder" kenamom pats Mulders shoulder. Then she turns to look at kande. "and kande, you still have the Dancing Dana's. Is the new number ready."

kandes face lights up, "it is Mayor, want a sneak preview?"

"OF course" the mayor sits down between Mulder and kande as kande claps her hands together and yells, "BRING IT ON!"

kenamom who has set two VCR's to tape and has convinced her hubby that he gets to deal with the kids tonight. I am so excited!!!!!!
