I like the changes you mentioned, but hope the layout is still similar. Don't like the other board layout, here you can see ALL posts on one page instead of everything being divided into topics. Also since the posting dates are listed beside each post, it is easy to see new ones without having to scroll down a long page of stuff you've already read to find new posts.
