Hiya

Hiya I'm Elisa, I'm 18 and I'm new to LM collecting but not to the Babyz community :) I've been reading this forum for ages but dismissing the idea of actually buying a doll - I thought they were way too expensive! But I've finally decided to buy one, now I just have to decide which and save up for it :)

I have a few questions though, especially to UK collectors cos thats where I am :) First one (to everyone) is I've never actually held a LM doll, what do they feel like? Are they like dolls that you buy for little kids? Or softer? Second is are there any UK shops online where I can look at LM dolls? I can't find any at all! And thirdly has anybody ordered them from America and had them sent over here...does it work out cheaper? I have family in USA so I could order them online, get them sent to my family and then they could send it to me would it be cheaper?

The only one of those questions that I can answer is how they feel. They are jointed in the arms and legs (you can see a picture of them naked at www.onsquare.com) but they are still cloth. There are weight pellets in their heads, making their head floppy like a new baby. There are also weight pellets in their bottom, making them heavy. They feel as much like a real baby as you can get! I can tell you bout shipping since Carrie already helped you with the feel :) Well if it's shipped to your relatives from certain sites it's free U.S. shipping on purchases over $50 or like $100...........
