Subject: Apology

Some time ago I posted a message about the H2oh babies which might have been misunderstood and unfortunately caused a huge stir in the doll community so I feel that I owe some people some explanations and some others a big apology.

THe H2oh babies are created by a very talented woman and are unique. The fact that she may be using the same molds as some other doll company does not mean in any way that she is "cheating"!! I fear that my message was read only in the "bad" parts of it and no-one noticed that I was speaking for myself or that I was telling everybody how great those babies are and how this lady is so great for making them!

I do apologize for any harm my post might have caused! The molds of some dolls are owned by many artists and the use of those molds is free to them. The fact that the Spanish company has those molds too does not mean that the other doll artists are "cheating"...In my post I expressed my husband's opinion (which for a while I admit that I had adopted) that why pay all that money when I can make my own dolls...Thus I gave the impression that somehow I encouraged others to do the same...I can never make a baby like an H2oh. That is the creator's inspiration and not mine. I can never copy her work and it is not my intention anyway!

I am genuinely and honestly, very very sorry for the stir I caused by expressing my opinions so openly and foolishly without thinking of the possible consequences those might have to others. I sincerely hope that the parties involved will in time find it in their hearts to forgive me.

Ps. It should be noted that the lady that makes those babies, *never* implied that she makes the molds herself, it is clearly stated in her website that she doesn't and I never said that I will copy and sell her work. If her work inspired me to make a doll for my own personal use, then I don;t think it is a crime. What was wrong of me was the way I said it..I am sorry
