H2o Babies (continued)

Hello!

I noticed some of you wanted to know more about those babies.

Ok I have quite a lot to tell.

First of all I canceled my H2o Baby doll cause I found out that those babies are actually made of the Berenguer dolls. The lady just takes them apart, re-stuffs them and uses latex water bottles to give them that "watery" baby feel.
Then se re=paints them to look more realistic. True she has done excellent job on those babies...they cost $165 and the Berenguer doll only costs $49!!

They are exactly the same doll!! So I ordered a Berenguer doll myself and I will re-paint her and attach lashes (hey I am a doll maker myself..I will put my knowledge to work :)

I will post pictures of the new baby when I get her, before and after I paint her..It seems to me that a good make-up goes a long way to making a doll!

Please don't get me wrong. The lady who made H2oh babies is exceptionally good at what she does and if you cannot do that (re-do the doll) then you might as well buy one of her dolls. But for me, I can re-do the doll myself so why pay all that money?

If you take a close look at the Berenguer dolls (my very own Eric Alexander was a Berenguer doll) you will see the mold is EXTREMELLY realistic! The hands and feet are absolutely gorgeous!! That is why I am buying it!

If you know of a Europe dealer that sells those dolls then please help NOT pay taxes from the USA :)
