I thought it was a little slow at times but I got into it. I loved the special effect with the plane nearly colliding with the World Trade Center.

It wasn't as much of comedy as I thought it was going to be but I think I read that the Pilot was going to be a liitle darker. It did have some funny lines. I think my favorite was Langly's, "Congrats on not being dead!" to Byers' dad.

Byer's dad definately had some similarities to Mulder's dad. I wonder if the ever plan on connecting them in the future. That might be interesting.

I had slight X-Files pangs as I watched this. In fact when we see the first scenario of Bertram Byers supposedly getting shot by the assassin in the car I swear that guy looked like Krycek for a second! It would be just the job for him too! And every time they mentioned the FBI...*sigh*. Well it really wouldn't work for them to even talk about Mulder and Scully at this point. Even though the Gunmen stories could be taking place at any time, if they even said Mulder's name the first thing we'd think is, 'do the Gunmen know Mulder's back? And that he's dead?'

Speaking of that, I do hope they'll be appearing on TXF again this year. Well I thought this was pretty good and it's fun to see what the boys are up to when Mulder, Scully, Skinner and now Doggett aren't calling on them for help.
