Subject: Skinner and Krycek (MAJOR Season 8 finale spoilers)

Maybe I just wasn't paying close attention or maybe it just didn't register fully what with having to watch poor Alex get killed, but when watching that scene again I realized just how brutal Skinner's actions were.

Krycek had been badly shot in the only working arm he had left. Then he tries to push the gun toward Skinner with his artificial arm. He was surrendering. Sure he was telling Skinner to shoot Mulder but he also did not want to die and was tryng to get Skinner to take his gun. Skinner then shoots him dead.

So what I want to know is, how do you feel about Skinner? My guess is he and Mulder will cover up this crime similar to Mulder covering up Scully's shooting of Donnie Pfaster. Do you think Skinner should be held accountable for this? Do you wish it would become known what Skinner did? Do you think less of Skinner for what he did? Do you think less of Mulder who will most likely keep silent?
What are everyone's thoughts?
