Scully's miraculous cancer cure was from the chip in her neck. William's conception, though is something else.

The other thing is that I have enjoyed watching is how the TWO stories that CC is telling play off each other while running their own separate paths. One story is Mulder's story which involves finding his sister and in this quest, investigating any other sort of paranormal, unusual, unnatural, (etc.) phenomena. I still have a hard time accepting how they wrote off Samantha but until the show is actually done, I will hope for a more acceptable answer.

The second story is Scully's in which she has had to deal with her abduction, learning to look past her science for answers, losing her family members as she follows Mulder across the country in his quest.

I think both stories have been running in parallel lanes and it's been great fun trying to sort things out. The best thing for me though, has been watching how these two individuals have overcome their own stories in order to come together as a couple, close FBI partners and a family unit.

As for Scully being the Chosen One, I am not sure I can believe that. CC has dragged a lot of religious symbolism into some of the episodes and maybe that is where this idea is coming from.

Buffy--ugh! Give me Bram Stoker any day. I enjoy Donald Sutherland but we don't see enough of him to make watching the show worth the time.
