Subject: Geez, I've been calling Scully the Chosen One for years!

Clyde Bruckman, Tithonus -- there have been innuendos all along. And in the ep where she kills Pfaster, she wonders whether it is good or evil working through her. I mean, I can't even remember what started it for me, but I KNOW this isn't something new. Sorry, Rab.

While there are two storylines throughout the series, I still feel that Scully's is more fully developed than Mulder's. Her character has been given more depth. Maybe that's intentional. Scully is supposed to be the one who wants a "normal" life, while Mulder has generally had blinders on in his search for his sister.

But I really like KM's idea that the show is about Scully's quest. It gives a fresh dimension to the show. Think about watching an old ep from this perspective, and try to see how it fits in with Scully's development. I think it's her work on the x-files that brought her back to her faith.
