While I didn't see the scene in question, from what everyone is describing, it seems like CC is doing the very thing I was afraid he would do when he brought Dogsbreath into the series: creating a "false intimacy" between him and Scully.
C'mon, Scully and Dogsbreath have worked together for, what, six weeks now? Yet we're supposed to believe they know each other so well, and are so completely comfortable with each other, that they're wandering into each other's bedrooms???
There are people I've worked with for *YEARS*, and get along fine with, but I've never even been inside they're homes, much less their bedrooms!!
The Mulder/Scully relationship was great because it was built up naturally, over time. From everything we learned about Scully over the first seven years of the series, she is *NOT* normally a person who achieves intimacy easily. Yet CC wants us to just accept that she will act this way toward Dogsbreath when she's known him less than two months??
