Subject: (She had fallen enough to know to lift her arms in case the horse stepped on her, but she was more than grateful for the steadying hands and the moment to collect that Josh had given her. Her eyes focused on him and she blinked a few times, taking a steadying breath before getting to her feet and running her hands over the dusty sleeves of her black jacket. So much for looking good in the arena. She laid a hand to Destin's cheek and soothed him with quiet words, all the while looking at her hero. He might be cute, and quick, and thoughtful.. everything that Trevor wasn't.. but he was a country boy- a rodeo chaser.. and he had no place in her life.) Thanks. (She said politely, taking the reins from him and collecting them, letting out a small laugh.) Trev's friend's don't know anything about respecting a horse's space.

  • "Apperantly..." He murmured, his eyes taking in the way she held herself to make sure there were no injuries that were worse then bruising. "You should go on and get some water and a couple asprin, gonna be sore as all get out come mornin'." Now that he was actually speaking in whole sentance, his southern accent was more then apperant, a slow drawl that accented every letter of every word. He picked up his hat from where it had fallen off in his rush to get to her, brushing it off before placing it back on his head. (NT) -- Josh, Thu, Nov 24 2005, 9:49pm PST
