Subject: "What did I do?" Shifting to lean forward in his chair, elbows resting on his knees and fingers linking together, he was almost pleading with her to enlighten him. He hated to think that she was hurt because of something he had done and hoped that maybe that wasn't the case. It just didn't make any sense to him and he had so much trouble with that sort of thing - logic was a major part of his life and things that weren't logical just confused him to no end.
