I also wonder about actors and actresses who leave a moderately successful TV show to "explore other career options" and then are never heard of again! I bet they end up regretting it.

A few years ago, I was watching only three shows on a regular basis: "Numb3rs", "NCIS" and "CSI:NY". At the end of the first or second season, they all had an actress leave. The shows have done fine without the actresses, but I've never heard of any of the three women again! Now that they're playing bit parts on soap operas or something, I have to wonder if they don't regret leaving successful, prime time TV series.
