Have you all noticed that the Kim curse extends to her partners having appendenges cut off? Last year, her boyfriend lost his leg in a car accident and now her Daddy chops off her boyfriend's hand. I hope there was no Freudian stuff going on behind that.

So Palmer isn't coming back next year? I mean, this year's storyline about him sucked, but couldn't he be redeemed?

I thought the story about Gael's wife shooting Saunders was completely bogus. As far as we can tell from the photo she put in the cardboard box, she and Gael had several kids. You can't tell me she wouldn't have thought of that when she picked up that gun. Who's going to take care of those kids now that she's going to prison and Gael is dead? The "24" writers must all be childless because they don't seem to be able to really understand parents at all.

I thought for sure Jack was going out to his car to shoot-up. He's so sensitive though! Obviously not as distant as he was trying to convince Chase he was. Of course, I of all people already knew that.

What I think will happen next year:

Kim and Chase will be in marriage therapy. He has PostTRaumatic Stress symptoms whenever there are family gatherings with Jack (Jack having been at least peripherally responsible for a majority of the trauma he experienced in his job as field agent). Chase also learned of the Kim Curse when her ex-boyfriend comes to the wedding with his false leg. Chase's hand has been reattached but he has trouble with it, mainly giving the finger to everybody all the time when he doesn't mean to. His therapist chooses to see this as he's angry and refers him to anger management. The other problem is that Kimmy-poo calls Daddy all the time when she and Chase have an argument.

Chloe learns of yet another nefarious plot to rule the world when she's out getting coffee for everybody in the office after she pissed half the office off. Nobody will believe her because they no longer listen to her. In desperation, she kidnaps Chase's baby, Angela, and blames the new Terrorist group in order to give Chase motivation to get off his desk job and return to the field. Chase blames Kim, learning yet of another Kim Curse which extends to children in her care being kidnapped.

Jack and Michelle start working on rounding up these new terrorists and work on a plan to bring Tony back into the fold. HOwever, after being pardoned by the former President Palmer, Tony is quite content with his new job in Daddy Daycare. Angela would never have been kidnapped if she'd been with Tony. In desperation, Michelle turns to Jack for comfort. KS shoots her. In his spare time, Jack plays golf with Palmer, who is his new best friend.

More stuff will happen, but that's just the first couple of episodes.
