I didn't watch "24" when it first came on because Kiefer Sutherland had heard that I am the "kiss of death" to new TV series and called and asked me not to. LOL!! Really, I can't remember why I didn't start watching it. I think maybe when it debuted it was on at the same time as some other new show I wanted to watch (and which I undoubtedly killed off within a few months)and I never got into it. Maybe I will watch it next year. Is that Tony guy still going to be on it?
You might like NCIS, det, even if JAG left you cold. NCIS is more of an actual mystery/cop show, whereas JAG is more of a lawyer show. Also they work really hard at making every ep of NCIS self-contained while JAG (especially after all the years it's been on the air; they just finished their 9th season)does tend to have references to past eps and ongoing emotional complications between the characters. I think it would be difficult for anybody to come into JAG at this point and connect with it. But this was only the first season of NCIS, so if you catch any eps in reruns thsi summer, you'll be seeing them only a few months after they orginally debuted. I also think NCIS is worth watching for the "hunk factor" alone; there's Mark Harmon (middle-aged hunky) *and* Michael Weatherly (young hunky).
