I got this from my British list hence the British tv references. Someone else said Variety reported she had joined the cast so who knows?

24 star denies being headhunted by CSI

American actress Reiko Aylesworth has denied she's joined the cast of CSI — and said she's in "limbo" about the future of the programme.

Producers of the crime drama, shown in the UK on five, have axed two stars, George Eads and Jorja Fox, after they demanded more money.

Aylesworth, alias 24's Michelle Dessler, said: "I don't know what's going on. Contrary to reports I've not joined the cast — I just signed up for a guest appearance. I arrived for filming to discover two of my friends got fired.
"I think they're having to rewrite the whole thing, so it's kind of on the back burner at the moment.

"I can't say what's going to happen with it really, whether maybe they're going to bring the actors back — people get fired and rehired all the time in this business."

Casting Aylesworth is unrelated to the sacking of Eads and Fox, producers insist. They were axed after a pay dispute, with CBS boss Les Moonves claiming he was concerned about "veiled threats about their not showing up" for work.

Aylesworth can be seen in the final episode of series three of 24, to be screened on Thursday on Sky 1 at noon.
