There was an article from some woman who was on Jeopardy! during Jenning's reighn and she says a lot of it isn't that the others don't know the answers, but that they have to buzz in at precisely at the correct time or be locked out. With Jennings being a computer engineer or whatever it is he does with computers, he's probably very good with button pushing.

I always thought it unfair when they changed the rule so you couldn't buzz in until the question was done. The time frame is so specific for buzzing in that the contestants have to have very quick reflexes. I think this is a big reason there are more men who win than women.
