Anyone watch this last week? I liked it. Don't know if it could be sustained as a series but it's certainly intriguing. Sure, JJ Abrams falls on familiar territory but he seems to do it with conviction just like on Alias. The premiere was to be a 2 hour deal but they decided to cut it in half so this Wednesday is the second half of the pilot.

Weiss from Alias played the pilot of the airliner who isn't around for long. Terry O'Quinn of all things CC is here & hasn't had a line yet, acts creepy though so he's true to form. The guy who was Merry, one of the hobbits in Lord of the Rings plays a bass player in a washed up rock band who may have a drug problem. A hunky doctor is the hero. About 48 survive the crash (although the crash looks like one no one could survive). Of course there is "something" on the island and the pilot lives long enough to tell them they were off course & unable to tell anyone where they are. Are they in a time wrap or just on an uncharted island? What's out there? Could be great or it could be lame, we'll see.
