Has anyone heard of this new show over there? can't recall the actresses names who will be in it but it is based on one of our comedy shows of the same name. The American version starts here on Sunday night. I can't wait to see it to see howmuch different it is. They've made changes to suit American culture. I don't know if our version has been shown over there. I think they want you all to see your version first coz you would not "get" ours. It's very Australianistic and you have to live it to really "get" it. Your's, for example, won't have fat Sharon in it because all you politically correct Americans would not like it and all the fat Macca's[macdonalds] supersize recipients of your nation, would sue the producers of the show for making fun of them. Even your Kim character is not as fat as ours. Your people are quite glamourous compared to ours and they even did not allow them to have low class, trashy accents.[whatever they may be] The whole basis of our show is that we laugh because we see ourselves in the characters and the events and places. You Americans are too serious and take offence if someone points out your weaknesses or unseemliness. And therefore your show has been watered down by political correctess. But I"m looking forward to it and I'd like you all to watch it because I want the American point of view. We will watch it from the point of view of knowing American culture very well through TV indoctrination, but TV is not always a reflection of true culture, so as real American people, I'd like your opinion of it. I'd also like Kenamom to watch it so we can both then bag out the yanks. ;-p
