I missed the first ep because I thought it was a movie so did not bother watching but I watched nearly all of the second ep just to see what it was like and to see what all the fuss was about itin the press. And becasue DD was in it. Well I have to say that I don't know why people are so up in arms about the sordidness of it. It's not that bad. Queer as folk is way way worse for that. But the show is actually crap!!! At least Queer as Folk has decent stories. This show is just boring and stupid. It is a terrible shame that DD is attached to such a poorly put together piece of garbage. And the woman has red hair. Was that a deliberate pun? DD looks really good for his age and the hair long is ok too but his acting is terrible. He just mumbles his way through each scene, no emotion, no energy, no change in tone. So monotonous. It does not do his reputation any good at all.

The ad the other night bragged how we were seeing this show at the exact time as you see it in the U.S. So what!! There are plenty of other shows that I would have killed to see at the same time as the US. Think of all those terrible months I waited....subsisting on spoilers and the talk here...for morsels of XF before it ever came here. Waiting the agonising hours for my dial up to down load the merest snippets such as the kiss and the "I'm pregnant" scene. Californication is a load of crap and I'm disappointed that DD is in it.

Who has seen it and what do you think?
