what it will mean for me, personally, is...not much. Our family watches about three hours of new, scripted TV a week. Main thing we use our TV for is for my husband and son to watch sports, to watch news and for us to watch TV shows on DVD; either shows that originally aired on premium cable channels we don't get (i.e. "Stargate: SG-1") or shows from the 1970s and 80s (i.e. "M*A*S*H", "Remington Steele", etc.). And we just don't watch a lot of TV, period. We're more into reading and the kids extracurricular activities and stuff up at our church.
So. . .I just can't say this is going to effect my life to the extent that, say, my life would be effected if the local Target closed down. And I have a hard time feeling sorry for anybody involved, as I figure everybody from both sides makes WAY more money than I do!
