Oh, my daughter LOVES "Remington Steele"! We've seen all the other seasons and really enjoyed them. That's not the problem.
The problem is my husband LOATHES James Read, the actor who played Murphy in the first season of "RS". (Apparently this was a feeling shared by other viewers, as JR was cut from the series after season one. And I've never seen him in any other show. So I guess the guy is just sort of unlikeable, although I, personally, didn't have a problem with the actor or the character he portrayed.) So, if we get that one, we'd pretty much have to only watch it only when hubby is not home, or he'd be wandering through the living room making gagging noises.
And I kinda hate to get a show hubby won't watch, as we'll ALL be watching the Stargate DVD's.
