#3 wasn't as good as the first 2. No James Cameron directing, no Linda Hamilton and Arnold looking like this will be his last action role. The bad terminator wasn't as impressive as Robert Patrick's one in T2. The plot rehashes the same stuff. But it is big budget shoot 'em up stuff so it is worth seeing once. Here's my rundown, if you want to see it don't look beyond this paragraph.

3 had no Sarah in it saying that she had died (can't remember if it was cancer like the show said). An adult John is now targeted by a female terminator while another Arnold comes to help John. This time, he was reprogrammed by John's future wife who is played in the present by Claire Danes. The feminator is to kill John and all those who will be his officers in the future. Danes is on the list but Arnold and John save her and go off to be chased all over.

They even go to Sarah's grave to find a weapons stash she left for them. Then they go after Skynet and fight some T1s which are small versions of those flying things one sees in the future. They almost get Arnold to return to his old programming and John is barely able to convince him to stop before he tries to kill him. The feminator is a TX model who doesn't have the shape shift powers but is stronger and better some how. She uses her sexiness to further her goals. Anyway, both get destroyed, Skynet starts the war and John and his "wife" are safe inside a bunker where he begins to communicate with survivors declaring himself in charge. So we have come to the end seemingly, full circle. What #4 will be about, I have no idea.
