Oh, torchwood. I totally agree with you on all counts with TW. I think it's lame but I like it. It gets better in S2. I have all of it on DVD but have not had time to watch. I've seen about 5 eps. Martha Jones turns up in the next ep that I am yet to watch. I really get tired of the "everyone lusts for Jack" line. It seems they all do. It's a bit like the eternal Doctor and everyone wants him.

I like Rhys and I hate that Gwen is cheating on him with Owen because I think Owen is a dweeb. I like your references to Ianto too. You will get a bit of a shock in S2. Also Tosh comes into her own a bit and has a bit more of an impact. Gwen also comes to her senses and realises Rhys isn't such a fool after all. My kids hate it when I watch TW because I practise my Welsh accent all the time. ha ha ha .

Now, the new season of DW is one for the books. It's great. Unusual stories. You will love it. I hvae watched...I think.....5 or 6 eps now. maybe 7. I really like Donna. No more Doctor lust. They are really good together. Such a breath of fresh air.

As for Sarah Jane. It is a good thing you are not watching it on cable. Apparently they cut about 10 mins out of each ep to fit their time slot. Sucks big time because 10 mins out of 30 is alot of scene time. You must wait for the DVDs. They are out in England and if you go to somewhere like galaxy 4 you can buy them on line. They are not out here yet. The show isn't out here yet. I can get no merchandise for my kids [and me, ha ha] at all. I have black mailed my brother in law to get me some stuff when he goes to England this month. Thank god for downloads though. We hand out for each weekend when we can get Doctor Who. If only I had this ability back when the X Files was on. All those months I waited and hung on spoilers.....waiting 10 hrs for a 20 second scene to download on dial-up. e.g. The kiss, the I'm pregnant scene, the spooning scene. Oh that was torture.

So keep talking about Torchwwod. Love to hear what you think of each ep.

Stardoe
