Wow, Jack's dad is one BAD Grandpa!! Taking your own grandson hostage has to be a new low.
Doesn't it seem like Jack should call his daughter and warn her that her grandfather is a homicidal maniac? I haven't seen all the previous seaons of "24" so I don't know what his daughter (not even sure of her name; is it Kim?) has done in the past -- I get the impression that most people regard her as a b***h -- but since Jack's dad seems to be trying to eliminate all his progeny, I'd think Jack's daughter would definitely be in danger. And, even if she is a b***h, she's still his daughter and I'd think he'd want her to stay alive.
