Subject: Anybody watch "CSI" or "Numb3rs"?

I don't know watch either "CSI" or "Numb3rs" on any kind of regular basis, but I've seen a few eps of each; enough to know who the main characters are, etc.
If anybody watched the season finales of either of these shows I'm just curious to know:
1.) Did somebody die on CSI? If so, who??
2.) Did either Charlie or Don on Numb3rs ever get a real girlfriend to whom they are engaged and/or expressing physical displays of affection with? Or is Charlie locked in a state of permanent UST (like we knew so well on XF) with Amita? And does Don simply run into a different old girlfriend (always a female law enforcement officer of some sort) two or three times every season?
