Subject: What new shows are you checking out?

This seems to be "premiere week" for most new and returning shows on most networks, although there are a few that have already premiered and several that won't premiere 'til next month.
So. . .what new shows are you going to check out?
I caught "Standoff" on FOX when it premiered a couple of weeks ago. It was. . .okay. Not horribly bad or anything, but it had been billed as a "Moonlighting" type show with lots of "banter" between the leads and I didn't really notice much of that in the Pilot ep. It seemed more like a standard "cop" show along the lines of one of the "CSI" or "Law&Order" shows. I might give it another look at some point, but if I hear it's been cancelled next month, I'll hardly be heartbroken.
The main new show I want to watch is "Kidnapped" on NBC on Wednesday nights. The main reason I want to watch is because it stars Timothy Hutton who I had a huge crush on back in the 1980s and who I haven't seen in anything in about ten years. Although the basic plotline does look pretty interesting (even for TH I doubt I'd watch, say, a teen soap opera) and, from the reviews I've read, most critics consider this show superior to the very similar "Vanished" on FOX.
That's really about it. If "Friday Night Lights" wasn't coming on opposite "NCIS", I might check it out. But these shows both come on at 7 p.m. Tuesdays here in the Central Time Zone and I'm rarely home at that time on that day and can only record one. So, while I like Kyle Chandler and like the idea of a show being set in Texas, I won't be watching it until/unless it makes it into reruns over the summer.
