Passions is supernatural all right. The witch, Tabitha, is usually at the center of it. Her "doll" was Timmy. It was strange because the actor who played Timmy needed to take a leave of absence from the show (he was having surgery, I think) and they were going to explain his absence by having him die and then come back as an angel. Well he actually died while he was on his medical leave. It was really weird. Harmony, the town where Passions takes place, is built on top of the gates to hell so every now and then when there's an earthquake or a supernatural event, the earth splits open and someone dangles into hell for awhile. When the show first began it was very much set up to be a "good vs. evil" type show with Tabitha representing evil and the Bennett family representing good, but it never really panned out. The first six months/year of the show was really quite supernatural which is what drew me into it. Well, and that it came on after Days. But it's really just an all around cheesy, over the top show. I think it pokes fun at soap operas in general because they all talk like this: "Thanks half-brother Fox, I need to call my dad, Police Chief Sam Bennett, who didn't realize he was my father until someone sent an anonymous email to the tabloids revealing my true paternity and ruining my life, to ask if him if he and my half sister Jessica who has been living on the streets with her pimp will be coming over for dinner!" AHAHA well maybe not that bad, but you get the point.

That Kathleen Noone character hasn't been on in awhile now, but she did have an Orangutan nursemaid. I'm glad she's gone. The actor was fine but her storylines were just so stupid towards the end.

That handsome British actor, I don't know his name either, plays EJ Wells, famous racecar driver on Days. He just showed up a few months ago and he is a bad guy.

Julie Pinson plays Billie Reed on Days, which used to be played by Lisa Rinna who's been around forever.

Ok, I'm done rambling, I promise! For awhile I had no one to talk to about my soaps but recently found two women at my work who watch the same ones as me!
