What you caught was the JAG series finale, Stardoe!
Mac and Harm never return and we never find out which one quit the military to follow the other one. . .it ended with the coin they tossed still up in the air.
Yes, I thought this was a satisfactory ending.
Do you have "NCIS" there in Australia? This is the new show the producer of JAG is doing here in America. Some of the NCIS characters were introduced on an ep of JAG a few years ago. NCIS is doing very well in the ratings here; better than JAG ever did.
David James Elliott is on a new show here called "Close to Home" but I don't watch it. He's a lawyer in this show, too, but a civilian one this time. I have no idea what Catherine Bell has done since JAG ended.
