I think we have an answer to the question of who is that women we've seen him hugging. I think it's his daughter. At the end of this episode, we saw a flashback of him helping that little boy sand the boat. It faded into a picture of the boy being replaced by a girl--maybe 10 years old. She didn't have black hair and didn't really look like Abby to me.

Obviously it's this person someone close to him because he doesn't let too many people touch his boat. I think this clip is showing us his daughter. My theory is that the woman we've seen him hug is this young girl, all grown up. I wonder if she is in the "business" somehow which is why we never see her.
