Lost-are they getting off track?

They got rid of Shannon, Walt is "lost" somewhere else, some of the regulars are hardly seen at all and now the Tailies seem to have taken over the show. Some fans think this is ruining the show especially the character of Ana Lucia. I don't mind her at all but most think she's a terrible character & actress.

I was glad to see in her backstory that she's an ex-cop who went off the deep end a bit. No other way could explain her "Rambina" actions to use Sawyer's description. Following their 48 days didn't tell us much: they were also infiltrated, they lost people but don't know their fate, they were the ones Boone got in contact with so they could indeed be cut off from the outside world. Why weren't the main section people attacked like that? 20 odd people is easier to take than 40 odd? Or perhaps the Others live on that side of the island. I thought if the plane broke up that the middle hit the beach & the front hit inland, then the tail would land way out into the ocean or on another island but not on the other side of that island.

Seeing what was in the hatch has helped. They really should go after the guy who was down there for answers. I suppose we'll just get dragged around forever. Next week promises to show how Kate became a fugitive. That will be worth seeing.
